Sheep leaping over the moon? Fish scurrying to tea breaks, balancing cups
on their noses? Paintings by Kai-Liis McInnes stretch the imagination and
produce smiles and chuckles.
Kai-Liis works in watercolour, mixed media and acrylic on paper and canvas,
with subjects which range from the (semi-)realistic to the frankly whimsical.
Inspiration is often drawn from recent trips to Africa, the Arctic, Peru,
the Yukon, and the Maritimes, as well as the endearing alpacas on her farm
in the beautiful Mulmur hills.
