Kim has passionately evolved as an artist and arts educator for over 25 years. She draws heavily on her Northern Ontario roots for inspiration in her encaustic paintings.
Rich colours and tactile textures! Translucent layers, photo imagery and natures' treasures, are a few of the intriguing elements built into her encaustic panels.
Their complex layers are woven together as one unified piece but invite the viewer to come close and really enjoy the intricacies.
