Sue paints pure, watercolour landscapes and she considers herself a visual scribe of our natural and pastoral areas. The rolling rhythms and changing light upon Ontario’s most beautiful geological landform, the Niagara Escarpment is her inspiration.

Travelling and painting go hand in hand for her and Sue’s most recent watercolour landscapes boldly depict the dense vegetation, endless patterns, designs and brilliant colours of the Costa Rican lowland rainforest in the south pacific. Seen through the eyes of the adventurer and artist, the paintings offer just a slice of the interrelationships that exist within this very precious and diverse ecosystem.
